The purpose of the Church shall be as revealed in the New Testament; to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to a Christ-centered life, and to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, that increasingly they may know and do His will, accepting the inspired Word of God as their only rule of faith.

Therefore, our main objective is to present every man (person) complete in Christ.  Our objective will be reached when we apply ourselves to four objectives:
1.  Proclaim Christ to all
2.  Admonish all to follow Christ
3.  Teach all to follow Christ
4.  We act in the power of the Spirit
We take communion every Sunday and every believer, no matter what denomination they may be associated with, is invited to join us in communion.

The conditions of membership are that all persons desiring to become members follow the simple requirements as laid down in God's Word for membership in His Church; that is, faith in Jesus Christ as the Divine Son of God, repentance of one's sins, public confession of one's faith, and baptism (complete immersion) into Christ for the remission of sins.

History

Alexander CampbellOur background is from Alexander Campbell's Restoration Movement of the early 1800's and we believe that unity in Christ was - and is - possible.  To achieve that requires letting go of human traditions and loyalties to dynamic personalities.  Christ alone should be exalted.  Campbell's Declaration and Address set forth the following principles that sound as modern as today to New Testament Christians:

1.  That the church of Christ upon the earth is essentially, intentionally, and constitutionally one; consisting of all those in every place that profess their faith in Christ and obedience to Him in all things according to the Scriptures.
2.  That there ought to be no schisms, no uncharitable divisions among local congregations.
3.  That nothing ought to be inculcated upon Christians as articles of faith; nor required of them as terms of communion; but what is expressly taught and enjoined upon them in the Word of God.
4.  That the New Testament is as perfect constitution for the worship, discipline, and government of the New Testament church, and as perfect a rule of the particular duties of its members; as the Old Testament was for the worship, discipline and government of the Old Testament church.
5.  That no human authority has power to impose new commands or ordinances upon the church, which our Lord Jesus Christ has not enjoined.
