What are the non-negotiables for your personal life? What are your boundaries? What things, values, etc., constitute your boundaries -- if out of bounds, what should absolutely not be tolerated your life?

The list for me is suprisingly short and yet effects my whole life.
1. Jesus is first in my life above all else.
Mat.6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all things shall be added to you."
The promise is two fold. We have a righteous eternal life and everything we have will be blessed.
2. Live your life so that everyone can see something is different about you (in a good way).
Mat. 5:16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
3. Pray every day. God wants to have a relationship with us.
Mat. 6:1-15 (V6-8 the heart of it)
Final thought on how we should live is Hebrews chapter 12

This is what happened to me when I got out of bounds with prayer.
I had felt like God had turned his back on me for awhile. Then out of the blue I had a coworker pull me aside one day. She said "God had put it on her heart to tell me that He has not forgotten me." I knew then I was out of bounds with my prayer life and needed to make a change right then.
I will never be perfect but I want to serve Jesus to the best of my ability, thats all.
