As Todd Braschler has been challenging us concerning our church, our families and ourselves, he has brought up some great topics of discussion. So the first topic of discussion is:

What is your "picture" of the perfect church? What do you want your church to "look" like? What do you want people to "see" when they come into this church? This discussion involves not only the physical characteristics, but also things like values.

My picture of the perfect church is one that teaches all of the Bible as the inspired word of God, no matter whether we are comfortable with it or not and that salvation comes by faith alone. It would be a church that teaches a balanced view of God/Jesus -- one that teaches about His love and also His holiness and His demand for righteousness for His people. We need to unconditionally love everyone who come through the door but not condone sin isn their lives.
