We are currently putting our Weekend to Remember City Volunteer Team together in preparation for the conference on April 3-5, at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita, KS.  If you are interested in helping on the Wichita team and attending the conference for Free, contact Shelley Ostby in the Antioch Christian Churh office.

Our Worship Committee recently announced that Rick Wilson has committed to serve Antioch as Music Director. He will start his new position January 1 as he transitions away from a similar position at Southwest Baptist Church. Rick committed to take responsibility for selecting songs and leading the worship song service, and for coordinating special music, at Antioch.   For the time being, at least, cantatas and choirs will not be part of his responsibility.

 We are doing the Shoebox ministry again this year.  Pack up a shoebox with small toys, hygiene items, etc. for a child and put in a $7 check for shipping.  Boxes are due by November 23rd. Click the link below for more information on packing your box and don't forget to put a $7.00 check in each box to cover the cost of shipping!

We will be decorating the church on Monday, November 24th at 5:30 pm.  Come, have a light supper with us, and help with the decorations!

This year our special Thanksgiving offering will go to Alpha Christian Children's Home.

The Alpha Christian Children's Home was established in 1972 to help children who need a home. Children in need at Alpha include those who are being raised by grandparents who are no longer able, children who have been abused, neglected, orphaned, troubled, or poor, & children from dysfunctional families. Alpha is Christian people working together to provide for children in need. Children can find open arms here with the love and care they need.

Their primary goal is the carpet and flooring. Therefore the Mission Committee has set a goal to provide the rest of what they need. For us the goal of $4,325.00 would make that a reality.

Join us for our Thanksgiving Celebration Dinner on November 23, at 5:30 pm.  We have a sign-up sheet at the Information Center for those who would like to bring turkey, dressing, gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, or sweet potatoes.  Everyone else can bring other side dishes and desserts or contribute cash for purchasing things for the dinner.  Please invite family and friends to join us but bring extra food if you are bringing extra people.

Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?  Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).  This is a life-changing series that has already impacted some of us at Antioch and we would love to share that experience with you as well! 

 Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary for 13 weeks as we watch The Truth Project video series by Focus on the Family.  We will provide donuts and coffee for those 13 weeks.  Then come back on Sunday evening.  We will have an encore presentation of the DVD at 5:00 pm followed by discussion groups at 6:00 pm to discuss what you saw and heard in the DVD. At 7:00 we will have snacks and fellowship time. 

We have some people who wish to attend our Truth Project, but attend other churches and cannot attend on Sunday mornings.  We have decided to show the DVD again at 5:00 pm (just prior to the group discussions on Sunday evening.  So, if you miss it on Sunday morning, feel free to come at 5:00 on Sunday evening.
